Well, here I am again, apologizing again for not posting.
My father was in and out of the hospital from shortly after Christmas until he passed, Jan. 21. I am a firm believer in grieving...I have found out through experience how necessary it is to let oneself grieve, and had to take some time for that.
Dad was 84, a hardworking, hard knocks MI farmer-WW2 Vet-truck driver. His soul was always in farming...unfortunately when he came back from the war, he found out his sisters sold the farm out from under him while he was gone. I don't think Dad ever got over that.
I know the 'popular' belief is mansions in Heaven....but if it is Heaven, Dad will have a farm and be growing the crops for those living in the mansions. *soft smile* RIP, Dad. I hope the full military burial touched your heart...never thought you'd get a 21 gun salute, did you?
Chronicles of the goings-on at Enyalien Miniature Horse Farm. Thoughts on breeding, foaling, showing, and whatever else I'm thinking at the moment!
Enyalien Farm Miniature Horses
Hello, and welcome to my blog! My name is Tina, and I have been raising these beautiful little horses since 1994. Life changed drastically for me in 2009, and to go along with the changes I renamed my farm to something meaningful to me (Enyalien means "In Order to Recall" in Tolkien's Elven language of Quenya), am working with a dear friend on redoing my website, and...am starting a blog. If you'd like to keep up with my thoughts or my herd, here is the place to do so. I will post updates, information, foaling chronicles, training bits, showing bits as I get back into the ring, fun stuff, etc. Enjoy!
